This Privacy Notice explains how Qrioz Trading Institute ("Qrioz", "we", "us", "our"), operating from Dubai, United Arab Emirates, collects, uses, and protects personal data when you use our website and online learning platform (the "Service"). Qrioz is the data controller for the personal data described in this notice.

1. Personal data we collect

Account data: name, email address, phone number, login credentials.
Profile & enrolment data: course progress, certificates, support messages.
Order data: the products you purchase, plan, payment status, and order reference. We do not store full card or bank details — these are collected directly by our payment provider.
Usage & device data: IP address, browser type, device identifiers, pages viewed, and basic analytics about how you use the Service.
Communications: any messages you send us via email or support channels.

2. How we use personal data

To create and manage your account and provide access to your courses.
To process enrolments, including admin verification of your payment.
To deliver customer support and respond to your enquiries.
To send service-related notifications (e.g. login, password reset, class updates).
To protect the Service from fraud, abuse, and security threats.
To improve the Service and develop new features.
To comply with legal obligations.
With your consent, to send marketing communications you can unsubscribe from at any time.

3. Legal bases

Where applicable, we rely on the following legal bases: performance of a contract (delivering the courses you purchase), our legitimate interests (operating, securing, and improving the Service), your consent (where required, e.g. marketing emails or non-essential cookies), and compliance with legal obligations.

4. Sharing your personal data

We share personal data only with the following categories of recipient:

Merchant of Record — Paddle.com Market Limited ("Paddle") — Paddle is the reseller and Merchant of Record for all our orders. When you check out, Paddle collects your billing details, payment information, and (where applicable) tax identification, and processes the payment, invoicing, tax compliance, subscription management (if any), and refunds. Paddle is an independent data controller for this information. See Paddle's privacy notice for details. We only receive and store the order reference, product purchased, amount, and payment status.
Infrastructure & hosting providers — including our cloud hosting, database, authentication, and email delivery providers, who process data on our behalf under written agreements.
Analytics & support tooling — limited usage data used to understand and improve the Service.
Professional advisers — legal, accounting, and compliance advisers, where necessary.
Authorities — where required by law, regulation, or valid legal process.

We do not sell your personal data.

5. International transfers

Some of our service providers are located outside the UAE. Where personal data is transferred internationally, we rely on appropriate safeguards (such as standard contractual clauses or the provider's own approved transfer mechanisms) to protect your data.

6. Data retention

We keep personal data only for as long as needed for the purposes set out above, to provide you continued access to your courses and certificates, to comply with our legal and tax obligations, and to defend legal claims. When data is no longer needed, we delete or anonymise it.

7. Your rights

Subject to applicable law, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict, or object to the processing of your personal data, to data portability, and to withdraw any consent you have given. You also have the right to complain to your local data protection authority. To exercise these rights, email support@qrioztradinginstitute.com. We will respond within a reasonable period, and within one month where required by law.

8. Security

We use appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect personal data, including encryption in transit, access controls, and authenticated administration of the Service. No system is perfectly secure, but we take security seriously and continually work to improve it.

9. Cookies

We use a small number of essential cookies to keep you signed in and to operate the Service. We may also use limited analytics cookies to understand how the Service is used. You can manage cookies through your browser settings.

10. Children

The Service is intended for users who are at least 18 years old. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has provided us personal data, please contact us and we will delete it.

We may update this Privacy Notice from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top will reflect the most recent revision.
